ABOUT the WRITER

I am Jasmin Howell (Jazz to my friends), wifey to my wonderful husband Mike, and Mama to my two sons - delightful Declan who we adopted at birth, and charming Charlie who was a surprise pregnancy after thirteen years of infertility. I am also the proud owner of Henrietta, the world's greatest cat, and I unashamedly love them all. 

I love writing (which is probably obvious!), building relationships with those around me, spending time with my family, proclaiming my love for my saviour Jesus, and eating olives. Walking is my favourite. Spring is my favourite. My most dearly loved colour is green, any and every shade. I love being barefoot and sitting in the shade. I thrive on new things, new places, new experiences, new people. I have been a teacher, realtor, administrator, content creator, singer, writer, sewer, reader...and the list could go on. There are too many wonderful things to do in this life, don't you think? 

With topics such as family life, raising children, homeschooling, depression, marriage, adoption, infertility, work, friendship and faith, I dearly hope you enjoy what you read here - equal parts charming and eclectic, encouraging and soul-stirring. May my words be a blessing each time you visit!
